Un mwewcronogramma è una mwfamassima o un mwfqmotto mwfglatino in cui alcune lettere corrispondono a mwfwnumeri romani che, sommati, danno la data dell'evento al quale il testo si riferisce.cite-ref-1[1]

Le lettere-numeri sono rese accentuate, o per spessore o con l'uso di colore (mwhqoro, mwhgrosso). Nel mwhwcronogramma naturale ogni parola contiene una lettera-numero, nel mwiacronogramma puro di ciò nell'ordine corretto, ad esempio: AmwiqMORE mwigMATmwiwVRmwjaITAS = MMVI = 2006. L'arte del cronogramma si è diffusa specialmente in mwjqepoca barocca in mwjgGermania e mwjwFrancia.
